Don Ivan Punchatz, Artist for Fantasy Book Covers, Dies at 73
Mr. Punchatz’s surreal art was splashed on popular horror and science-fiction paperbacks, magazines and the first “Star Wars” film poster, influencing a generation of illustrators.
