BFI plans comprehensive season celebrating most adapted author of all time in early 2012
From Alec Guinness as a memorable Fagin to Miss Piggy as a sweetly psychotic Mrs Cratchit, the BFI is to show some of the very best examples of Charles Dickens's writing on screen as part of bicentenary celebrations for the novelist.
